1966 (VFA) :
Geelong West was relegated back to the second division of the VFA.
Division 2 Grand Final - Geelong West 5.15.45 were defeated by Prahran 17.12.114, at the Two-Blues home ground, Toorak Park before 8,000 fans.

1967 (VFA) :
Division 2 Grand Final - Oakleigh 12.14.86 defeated Geelong West 11.7.73 at Coburg in front of only 3,500 people. Geelong West had been leading at half-time.

1968 (VFA) :
Division 2 Grand Final - Geelong West 20.15.135 defeated Willamstown 18.15.123 at Toorak Park, crowd 17,000.
Notes on the grand final : Williamstown had a five point lead at three-quarter time. The lead seesawed during the final quarter. Williamstown had been two points up going into time-on.

1969 - VFA : Geelong West were promoted back into Division One for this season.
1970 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.
1971 - VFA : Geelong West slipped back into Division Two after this season.

1972 (VFA) :
Division 2 Grand Final - Geelong West 14.16.100 defeated Caulfield 14.10.94 at Toorak Park, crowd 15000. It was the first time since North Melbourne in 1918, that a team won every match of the season.
Geelong West's Graeme McLean kicked a then Division Two record of 137 goals for the season.

1973 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.
1974 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.

1975 (VFA) :
First Division Grand Final - Geelong West 18.13.121 defeated Dandenong 14.9.93 at Junction Oval, crowd 27582. 53 point lead by three-quarter time, though Dandenong almost halved that deficit in the final term.

1976 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.
1977 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.
1978 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.

1979 (VFA) :
Division One Grand Final : Coburg 16.15.111 defeated Geelong West 14.19.103, crowd 17000.
Notes : Geelong West squandered a 27-point quarter-time lead.

1980 (VFA Division 1) :
First Semi-Final - Geelong West defeated Sandringham by 32 points.
Preliminary Final - Geelong West were defeated.

1981 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.
1982 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.

1983 (VFA) :
Division One Grand Final : Preston 14.10.94 defeated Geelong West 12.15.87 at the Junction Oval, crowd 14000.

1984 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.
1985 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.
1986 - Geelong West participated in the VFA.
1987 - VFA Division 1 : Geelong West forfeited two games as the result of a player strike.
1988 - VFA Division 2 : Geelong West finished 5th.
1989 - Prior to this season, Geelong West merged with Saint Peter's FC from the Geelong FL to become Geelong West-Saint Peter's, more commonly known as West Saints.

2000 :
At this time, Geelong West was still merged with Saint Peters FC. The playing name was the Geelong West-Saint Peters FC, and the side competed in the Geelong DFL.
