1942 - QAFL Grand Final : Mayne 8.9.57 defeated Western Districts 5.8.38 (this is interesting, considering the name change date given below).
1946 - Taringa changed name to Western Districts.
1952 - QAFL Grand Final : Mayne 12.9.81 defeated Western Districts 11.14.80.
1953 - QAFL Grand Final : Western Districts 7.14.56 defeated Windsor 6.11.47.
1954 - QAFL Grand Final : Western Districts 12.11.83 defeated Sandgate 10.7.67.
